CPM (cost per 1,000 impressions)
—
CPM (cost per mille) is what you pay for every 1,000 times your ad is shown. It's the standard way to compare the cost of awareness campaigns across channels like Meta, Google Display, YouTube, and programmatic. Enter your total spend and impressions below to get your CPM instantly.
How to calculate cpm
Formula
CPM = (Total ad spend ÷ Impressions) × 1,000
Divide your total ad spend by the number of impressions the campaign delivered, then multiply by 1,000. The result is what it costs to reach a thousand people. A lower CPM means cheaper reach — but always read it alongside CTR and conversion rate, because cheap impressions that never convert aren't a bargain.
Example
You spent $500 to serve 100,000 impressions.
CPM = (500 ÷ 100,000) × 1,000 = $5.00 per 1,000 impressions.
